Assessment and Selection

LEGION's hiring methodology incorporates the same basic principles as the assessment and selection processes used within the special operations and intelligence communities; in some cases borrowing directly from them. This enables us to deliver the highest caliber of contracted staff to a customer base that often requires prospective contractors to undergo rigorous additional vetting.

To meet these stringent standards and ensure rapid staffing of properly qualified personnel, LEGION's recruiting and hiring infrastructure includes the Behavioral Science specialist that helped design our internal assessment criteria to oversee (and when required, participate in) the selection process. While the exact procedures used for selection depend upon contract requirements, all candidates undergo:

  • A thorough candidate resume screening to ensure alignment with identified position
  • An extensive background and security review to ensure currency of access
  • A psychological screening (complexity is position dependent) to gauge suitability
  • Multiple interviews (telephonic and in-person) to vet stated credentials and experience
